Yngwie Malmsteen Announces World On Fire 2017 North American Tour

Guitar legend Zakk Wylde, know for his work with Ozzy Osborne and his own band Black Label Society will return with a new solo album, Book of Shadows II on April 8th from Spinefarm Records. The new single ‘Sleeping Dogs’ can be heard at this link or below:
Book of Shadows II is the follow up to Wylde’s previous solo album Book of Shadows, from back in 1999 and the new album is also its successor musically as well as he gets out his chilled out side inspired by The Eagles, Credence Clear Water Revival, and Neil Young . Created with his long time collaborator John Irwin, the pre-orders are live and ‘Sleeping Dogs’ is available as an instant grat track for pre-orders on iTunes.

Having a huge year on tap with wide launch of Death Wish Coffee (complete with Superbowl 50 TV spot), and booking a hectic road schedule, Zakk is currently on tour with the Experience Hendrix Tour, Wylde has already participated in The NAMM Show, the 2016 Axes And Anchors Tour, and he will join Generation Axe Tour featuring Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi. and has booked an extensive solo tour of Europe.

Dave Lombardo Art Showcases At Los Angeles Gallery

Dave Lombardo (current Philm and formerly of Slayer drummer) debuted his rhythm on canvas to the public at Forgotten Saints in West Hollywood, CA Saturday, July 11, 2015. This collection is a collaboration with Los Angeles based creativity house SceneFour, who has previously collaborated with RZA (Wu Tang Clan), Bootsy Collins and Chuck D (Public Enemy), Jose Pasillas (Incubus), Page Hamilton (Helmet) and Yngwie Malmsteen, as well as previous gallery showcases with Steven Adler (Guns N Roses) and John 5 (Rob Zombie).

He appeared for an in person symposium for the public at two separate showcases, explaining each art piece which was created by being photographed in the dark using a special clear light producing drum stick, and capturing the rhythms to develop into each abstract artwork piece. Lombardo himself selected and named the dozen pieces within the collection. Each piece is numbered and signed.
Similar showings in New York and Paris (France) are in the works with announcements to come.

A “shredders cruise” has joined the list of music themed cruises as the five day/four night Axes & Anchors cruise will be setting sail aboard the Carnival Victory, departing from Miami, FL on February 20, 2016, stopping in Key West, FL and Nassau, Bahamas, and docking back in Miami, FL on February 24, 2016.
The following musicians will be performing and giving lessons on the cruise:
