When We Were Young Music Festival Cancels Day One of Their Festival Due to High Winds

The highly anticipated destination music festival aimed at Punks, elder Emos, and millennials, When We Were Young Festival featuring My Chemical Romance, Paramore, and Avril Lavigne has been forced to cancel day one of their sold out event. The cancellation was announced at 10 AM PST, just an hour before gates were to open at Las Vegas Festival Grounds. due to high winds. Winds were forecasted for up to 30-40 MPH which increases the safety hazard for an outdoor stage. The fest is still expected to take place tomorrow and again next weekend; on October 29th, 2022.

Rise Against Books a Headline Tour with The Used, Senses Fail, Pennywise, and Rotting Out


Rise Against, still supporting their Nowhere Generation (Epitaph Records) album from 2021, has announced a summer 2022 North American headline tour in two parts, and European dates as well. The first leg will have support from Pennywise and Rotting Out, and leg two with support from The Used and Senses Fail. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 4th.

Let’s take it way back to Warped Tour ca. 2004 as When We Were Young Festival has announced their 2022 lineup. A Punk, Emo, and Metalcore kids dream, the lineup includes headliners My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Other bands on the bill include Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, The Linda Lindas, Alkaline Trio, Thursday, AFI, Meet Me @ The Altar, Avril Lavigne, Senses Fail, The Wonder Years, ADTR, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, Atreyu, Four Year Strong, Palaye Royale, Acceptance, Anberlin, Knocked Loose, Silverstein, Bright Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance and more are among the bands announced. Coheed and Cambria and The Used Book a Co-Headline Tour



Progressive Rock band Coheed and Cambria and post-hardcore legends The Used have announced their upcoming summer co-headlinine tour. Special guests on the tour will be The 18-city U.S. tour of amphitheaters is produced by Live Nation, and will begin on Friday, Aug 27 in Irvine, CA, and make stops in Phoenix, Dallas, Cleveland, New Jersey, Worcester, and more. The late summer journey will feature special guests Meet Me @ The Altar and carols daughter on select dates, and will culminate with a performance at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL on Sept 24th. Most tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, June 18th at 10AM local time at the links below. Artist pre-sales start tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21st at 10AM local time and will end at 10PM local time on Thursday, June 17th.
