Guitar Hero Relaunching This Fall

The Guitar Hero video game franchise is relaunching its line this fall with a new installment called Guitar Hero Live, where it has been reworked to now feature a live action experience and focuses solely on guitars this time around. A new guitar peripheral has been announced to go along with the game and features two rows of three buttons to offer a different experience that will allow for basic chord patterns on higher difficulties.

Lollapolooza Announces South American Lineups For March 2015

Lollapolooza South America has released its respective lineups for their Chile, Brazil and Argentina editions, each happening in March 2015.

The Santiago, Chile stop will be happening on March 14-15, 2015 at O’Higgins Park and the bill will feature Jack White, Kings Of Leon, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The Smashing Pumpkins and Foster The People topping the bill. Other acts confirmed to perform include Kasabian, The Kooks, Interpol, Bastille, NOFX, Major Lazer, St. Vincent, as well as Chilean artists Congreso, Jorge Gonzalez, Fernando Milagros, Astro and Pedropiedra.

The Buenos Aires, Argentina stop will be happening on March 21-22, 2015 at Hippodromo de San Isidro and the bill will feature Jack White, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Kasabian, Bastille, Alt-J, Interpol, Major Lazer, St. Vincent, Nicky Romero, as well as Argentinian artists Pedro Aznar, Zero Kill and Maxi Trusso.

The Sao Paolo, Brazil stop will be happening on March 28-29, 2015 at Autodromo de Interlagos and the bill will feature Jack White, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Kasabian, Bastille, Alt-J, Interpol, Major Lazer, St. Vincent, Marina and the Diamonds, as well as Brazilian artists Pitty and Banda do Mar.

In related news, Lollapalooza has announced their German edition in Berlin, happening September 12-13, 2015 at Tempelhof Airport. The Chicago edition is happening on July 31-August 2, 2015.
