Super7 is Releasing New Slayer and Venom ReAction Figures Next Week


Super7 Toys will release new ReAction figures next week of Slayer and Venom! Slayer’s figure is based on the track “Born of Fire” from 1990’s Seasons In The Abyss (American Recordings) and comes in translucent orange. The Venom figure is the classic mascot in Glow-In-The-Dark green! Pre-orders will go live by mid-week when Super7 usually drops new releases.

Super7 Releases New Gorilla Biscuits ReAction Figure and New 7 Inch Repress


Super7 has collaborated with Revelation Records for a new version of the Gorilla Biscuits ReAction Figure and a new pressing of the 7-inch of the GB self-titled release from 1988. Originally shared last year for the 30th anniversary of the band celebrated with a special release show at Coney Island Baby during New York Comic Con 2018, the new version is the red GB mascot figure, and third repressing vinyl. The GB display base is also a 7” large hole adapter which fits the new 30th anniversary 7”. (Then you can place the adapter on the record, the figure on the adapter and play the record with the figure spinning on it!) Lastly, the box set also comes with a 16-page booklet that chronicles the history of recording and releasing this landmark 7” record including many never before heard stories, fact and information about the record. Super7 is having a big weekend featuring at the ToyFair convention in New York this weekend. They are at booth 5382 Level 1 if you are going! They have already unveiled their Slayer Show No Mercy era “Mintor” ReAction Figure. Now they have revealed the rest of their new music line of figures including Back At The Moon era Ozzy Osbourne, Papa Emeritus III from Ghost, Motörhead’s mascot War Pig come to life, and Vic Rattlehead, from the classic Ed Repka, painted cover of Megadeth’s Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? Randy Blythe: We As A Race, THE HUMAN RACE, Have To Do Better Than This.


Last night a horrific terror attack left 22 people dead, and more than 50 people injured after a suspected suicide bomber set off an explosive after Ariana Grande‘s sold out show at Manchester Arena (details). Like many of you, I don’t know much about her music, but what I do know is that her audience is young, and many of those young lives were lost last night. Just like we do every week, these fans just went to see a show. They wanted to escape from life for a few hours, and enjoy one of their favorite singers, but a coward decided to turn what should be a joyous occasion into an absolute nightmare.

Like all of us, musicians around the world were appalled at the attack, and we saw many post messages of support and love last night on social media. One of those was Lamb Of God‘s Randy Blythe, who took the time to write out a powerful message in response to the attack that I feel is worth sharing. Continue reading
