Queen and Adam Lambert kicked off their massive world tour, The Rhapsody Tour, last night at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia! Featuring an extravagant stage show befitting of one of the best bands ever, they played an extensive twenty-nine song setlist (via Setlist.fm) which included all-time hits, deep cuts, and rarities. On the back of several years of sold-out tours and a Las Vegas Residency this fall, Queen and Adam Lambert have booked a new headline tour of America. This follows this fall’s highly successful Bohemian Rhapsody movie launch, which sees Queen co-founders Dr. Brian May and Roger Taylor as Executive Producers on the film. Produced by Live Nation, the epic 23-date arena and stadium “Rhapsody” tour is set to run from mid-July through late August. Tickets for the “Rhapsody” tour go on sale to the general public starting December 7 at 10 a.m. local time. Queen and Adam Lambert with reteam to play a string of dates on the Las Vegas Strip this fall with a 10-date, “The Crown Jewels”, at Park Theater at Park MGM. Shows will be held September 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 14, 15, 19, 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. One of their performance dates, Saturday, September 8, lands on Queen Day in Las Vegas, which former mayor Oscar Goodman declared in 2004.
