Ghost Hints At A New EP For 2019 Release

Ghost riding high off a huge year, releasing the worldwide smash album Prequelle (Spinefarm), and headline tours of Europe and the USA have even more in store for next year. In addition to a full tour of Europe with Metallica, frontman Cardinal Copia, a.k.a. Tobia Forge hinted at an already recorded new EP ready for release. The band has interspersed all of their major full-length albums with EP’s of originals and carefully chosen covers. There is also a possible DVD/concert film release possible according to the interview with Oklahoma City radio station 100.5 KAAT. Listen to it below. Ghost Kicks Off Their New Tour Tonight In Kentucky

Ghost is set to kick off their new US tour, “A Pale Tour Named Death” tour tonight in Louisville, Kentucky at The Palace Theatre. The tour runs through December 15th in New York City at The Barclays Center. The full tour routing can be found below. Former Ghost Members Plan To Appeal Their Case In Swedish Court

The four former members of Ghost that had their case against Tobias Forge dismissed this week claim they will appeal. Forge was sued by the four ex-members in April 2017. They accused the singer of cheating them out of their rightful share of the profits from the band’s album releases and world tours. Simon Söderberg (Alpha), Mauro Rubino (Air), Henrik Palm (Ether) and Martin Hjertstedt (Earth) have three weeks to appeal the ruling, and their attorney, Michael Berg, told SVT earlier today that they intend to seek a reversal. The trial in Linköping District Court lasted for six days, and on Wednesday (October 17), a 108-page decision was released dismissing the case. The four former GHOST members were also ordered to pay Forge’s legal fees, which could amount to approximately over $145,000. Söderberg, Rubino, Palm and Hjertstedt have reportedly spent 2.9 million kronor (approximately $320,000) in legal fees on the case so far. Since the members were dismissed from the band in 2016, Ghost has released the international smash hits Square Hammer single and the album Prequelle (Spinefarm).

Ghost Shares Music Video For “Dance Macabre”

Ghost’s infectious smash single (15 million Spotify streams) ‘Dance Macabre’ has received the creepy music video treatment after much teasing on social media. The track comes from their hit album Prequelle (Spinefarm) from earlier in 2018. Directed by Zev Deans, who also directed the ‘Square Hammer’, you can watch it below. Ghost performed a stunning show at Royal Albert Hall last night in the UK, supporting their smash hit album Prequelle (Spinefarm). The exclusive show was performed in two acts, as they did on their recent Rats On The Road headline tour of the USA. You can watch fan-filmed videos from the show below. Following the gig, the band released an ominous video featuring Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil, announcing a European tour, in addition, to already announced Scandinavian dates for next winter. Their single ‘Dance Macabre’ has over With 15-million streams worldwide, topped only by the albums other hit single, ‘Rats’, which just celebrated nine weeks at #1 on the charts. Ghost: Live At The Clyde Theatre

Some “stranger things” seemed to start occurring on this road trip immediately. Let me step back a bit. I love road trips and when I was asked to cover Ghost, I jumped at the chance. Ghost and the clergy put on an AMAZING show that will keep you in a mesmerized trance! Not sure if this has happened to anyone as they where heading out to see Ghost, but for me, this was a Stranger Things can happen road trip. Off to Fort Wayne, Indiana to a recently remodeled “The Clyde” theater, decked out and powered by Sweetwater Studios Theatre. So the 1st strange thing that started happening was once on the highway heading on out to Indiana my car started to drive a little strange, not a smooth ride, almost as if it really didn’t want to make this road trip… I’ve made a couple and yes things happen to vehicles, so I stopped did a once over and everything appeared fine. Ghost Announces Full Headline Tour of America

Ghost has announced their first full North American headline tour of large venues. The trek, which includes the their previously announced headline arena dates at The Forum in Los Angeles, California and Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, will kick off on November 1 in Chicago, Illinois and wrap on December 15 in Brooklyn. Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available beginning June 12 at 10:00 a.m. local time and general tickets will be available to the public beginning June 15 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
