Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) has announced the launch of the Tom DeLonge Starcaster®, the sophomore signature guitar in honour of the melodic-punk icon. DeLonge was drawn to the Starcaster® only recently, first using it on stage in 2022. It was then stage-tested on the 2023/2024 Blink-182 Reunion Tour. According to a published report by Variety, Metallica and longtime co-manager Cliff Burnstein are among the parties involved in a new intellectual-property acquisition venture Worldwired Music IP Fund.
