High On Fire Announce Fall North American Tour with Power Trip, Devil Master, and Creeping Death


Confirming the news we broke last week, Grammy-winning stoner rock band High on Fire have booked new North American tour dates with Power Trip, Devil Master, and Creeping Death. The bands’ Record Store Day covers EP, Bat Salad that was a physical-only release via eOne, will see a digital release this Friday, July 26th. The band will play at Psycho Las Vegas this summer, and Levitation Festival this fall as part of the new dates. Continue reading

Black Label Society Books Tour With Conan and Atomic Bitchwax


Black Label Society, led by Zakk Wylde, has booked a spring tour of the USA, dubbed “20 Years of Sonic Brewtality Tour,” a brand-new batch of 2019 North American tour dates in conjunction with the release of a new, reimagined version of the band’s iconic 1999 debut LP, Sonic Brew, on May 17, 2019 titled Sonic Brew – 20th Anniversary Blend 5.99 – 5.19, original formula with enhanced flavor.. Support will come from Conan and Atomic Bitchwax. The band will be on the road supporting the Remastered reissues of BLS’ entire back catalog, coming over the next few years from their label eOne. The Company has licensed the following titles: Sonic Brew, Stronger Than Death, 1919 Eternal, The Blessed Hellride, Hangover Music Vol. VI, Mafia, and Shot to Hell.

I don’t know how Matt Pike does it. Six months since Sleep dropped The Sciences (which is still ace and you should totally buy if you haven’t already) seemingly out of nowhere, the man who has forgotten more brilliant riffs than most of us will ever know has effortlessly created another world-beater. I admit that might be a case of me showing my hand a bit too soon – saying a High On Fire record is great is about as predictable as the sun rising in the morning, but both are positive reminders that good things are always on the horizon.Continue reading
