The notorious Scum Dogs of the Universe, GWAR sold out Albany’s Empire Live on the twenty-first day of March, on planet Earth, year 2026, and brought all their cosmic metal chaos all the way from space for their “Gor-Gor Strikes Back Tour.”
Accompanying these intergalactic space warriors were Australia’s Punk/Thrash band King Parrot, who undeniably set the evening off with their high energy and intense set. They got the crowd amped up and ready to be taken over next by the insanely talented band Soulfly, who brought a sense of unity and nostalgia to this event. Continue reading
Hate the Adversary kicked off the nights performances. They are a talented group of musicians originating from Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 2018. They have opened for many national acts previously such as Obituary, Agnostic Front, Leeway, Marauder, DRI, Possessed and this evening they had the honor of rocking out Empire Live for the first time for headliners Death Angel. They were amazing to start this show off. Their passion, dedication and original music traveled through the crowd and had them anticipating what was in store for the rest of the evening.
