Queen + Adam Lambert opened the Academy Awards last night by performing their hit singles ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘We Are The Champions’ at the top of the show. The band was introduced by actors Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, famous for their roles as Queen worshiping rockers in Wayne’s World. Myers also has a bit role in Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen was performing in celebration of the bands’ nomination for the Bohemian Rhapsody film’s Best Picture at the Oscars, as well as many other nominations for the film.
