Metallica performed their two sold-out 40th Anniversary concerts in December of 2021, as part of their San Francisco Takeover of their hometown celebrations which included the band getting the key to the city, a block party/fan event, metallica Blackened Whiskey tastings, a Ross Halfin curated photo gallery exhibition, a film festival at a venue they used to play (The AMC Kabuki), and more!
