Volbeat Parts Ways with Rob Caggiano, a Replacement for all 2023 Tours is Announced


 

Danish Heavy Metal stars Volbeat have announced that they have parted ways with guitarist and producer Rob Caggiano after ten years in the band. Volbeat shared a statement on social media, although Rob has not commented yet. Rob came to Volbeat from Anthrax where he had a decade-plus stint in that band, performed on two studio albums toured the world, and performed at the Big Four Shows of 2010, 2011. He is also a 5-time Grammy-nominated album producer who has also worked with Cradle of Filth and Bruce Springsteen, and Volbeat among others. The band announced Flemming C. Lund (The Arcane Order) will be the guitarist to finish out Volbeat’s live tours for the remainder of 2023.

“After ten incredible years we must sadly announce that VOLBEAT and Rob Caggiano have parted ways. During our time together we’ve traveled the world sharing great experiences and released four albums that we are immensely proud of, and we wouldn’t change a moment of it.
