Metallica took over New York City for a week in September to promote Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, and they did it all. The heavy metal icons performed at The Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, The Howard Stern Show, Webster Hall, and on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During their visit to Jimmy Fallon‘s studio, the band also took part in a musical skit that finally aired on last night’s episode.
