Modern Metal leaders Trivium has announced their next album title will be In The Court Of The Dragon, dropping on on October 8th, 2021 via Roadrunner Records. The record was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Killer Be Killed, Parkway Drive) and recorded in the Fall of 2020 at Full Sail University in Orlando. “Getting to album 10 felt momentous,” says bassist Paolo Gregoletto. “Not many bands get this far, so it had to live up to being the 10th record. We didn’t know if we were going to be able to tour, so it had to still be impressive enough to keep everyone’s attention. It was the sole focus for the last ten months. We had to make sure we met the bar we’ve set for our fans and ourselves.”

The band previously shared the album’s title track, “In The Court Of The Dragon,” which featured an epic intro composed and orchestrated by Ihsahn (Emperor) and was accompanied by an official short film music video directed by Ryan Mackfall.

Frontman and guitarist Matt Heafy says, “This album has everything. It has the singing, the screaming, the death metal, the black metal, and the catchy metal.”

Trivium will make its long-awaited return to the road this summer with Megadeth, Lamb of God, and Hatebreed on the Metal Tour Of The Year. View a full list of tour dates here.
