Tool Announces Artists for Tour, Kicks off New Dates at Aftershock Today


Tool is kicking off their fall headline tour of North America today as the final headliner of Aftershock Festival tonight in Sacramento, California. The bans has announced their lineup for their always coveted tour poster art, which always sells out every show and is often sold and traded between fans. Following Aftershock, the band will embark on their headline tour supporting their global #1 album Fear Inoculum (Tool Dissectional/ Volcano/RCA). Direct support on all tour dates to come from Killing Joke. To date the band has sold over 270,000 albums, most of them being physical copies, unprecedented in the current music industry climate of streaming. The success wasn’t isolated to the U.S., with the album debuting at #1 in Australia, Norway, New Zealand, and Belgium, as well as Top 5 debuts in the UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, and Finland.
