Bad Wolves Deliver 250k Dollar Check To Family Of Dolores O’Riordan


Bad Wolves who have a worldwide hit song with their cover of ‘Zombie’ by The Cranberries, delivered a check last night for 250k USD to the family of Dolores O’Riordan. The band presented the check before their show last night at The Gramercy Theater in New York City. The band had promised that all royalties from the track would go into a fund for her children. Normally at Ghost Cult, we don’t pay attention to things like Billboard charts here, as it have little relevence to rock, metal and other underground music. But we have to give a shout out to Bad Wolves, whose cover of The Cranberries‘ ‘Zombie’ is now the number one mainstream song in America and charting in other countries in the world as well. It is quite a feat for a band that is a metal band at heart with members from God Forbid, Devildriver and Snot among others.
