Zeal and Ardor Shares Two New Songs, New EP Incoming
Gospel and spiritual music inspired Black Metal artist Zeal & Ardor have announced a new EP titled Wake of a Nation on October 23, and they’ve put out two singles to showcase what’s in store. The titles of the first two singles, “Vigil” and “I Can’t Breathe,” are a statement on the current climate of race relations, protests, and police brutality and murder in the USA. FESTIVAL REVIEW: Sonic Temple 2019
The debut of the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival capped off the Danny Wimmer Presents 2019 spring festival season with sold-out crowds of 120,000 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH, May 17, 18 & 19. It was a fest for the ages and one of the best lineups in the history of “The Worlds Loudest Month”, the signature of Danny Wimmer Presents music festival experiences. In addition to massive performances from Foo Fighters, System Of A Down, Disturbed, Ghost, Papa Roach and Lamb of God, the weekend offered one-of-a-kind art experiences, including legendary street artist RISK, art installations, live mural painting, live screen-printing and the popular Art Tent. Baroness Shares New Video and Song For “Seasons”
Baroness is currently on tour with Deafheaven and Zeal and Ardor. By all accounts, they are playing a few new songs live, as they prepare for the June release of their new album. Gold & Grey is due out on June 14th from the bands’ own label Abraxan Hymns. You can watch the new video for the stunning track “Seasons” right now. The clip takes fans behind-the-scenes into the recording for Gold & Grey, featuring pre-production footage from the singer/guitar player John Baizley’s Philadelphia basement studio.
