Darkness Everywhere Releases First Official Music Video – “Darkness Everywhere”

Bay Area Melo-Death crew Darkness Everywhere is comprised of vocalist/guitarist/drummer Ben Murray (Light This City, Wilderness Dream), guitarist Cameron Stucky (Crepuscle), and renowned producer-engineer, Zack Ohren on bass. They dropped their first video from their debut release, “Darkness Everywhere,” from their debut EP, The Seventh Circle, which is out now on Creator-Destructor Records. The “Darkness Everywhere” video was filmed and directed by Van Labrakis (Nite), Michelle Nisbet, and Marshall Wieczorek, and edited by Alessandro Pulisci of Ugly Owl Films. Check it out!

 

Ben Murray comments: “This video was an absolute blast to make. Thanks to the awesome crew who helped us out! Van, Michelle, and Marshall all did a really great job in their directing, allowing us to capture the unhinged, live energy of this song. We wanted to keep things simple and visually get straight to the point, which I think we accomplished. I always really enjoyed straightforward performance videos that matched the intensity of the band’s riffs/songs, and I think we got that done with this video. We’re also stoked to highlight the first actual ’song’ on the album, which wasn’t one of three singles. We hope you enjoy it!”

 

 

Darkness Everywhere will take part in Creator-Destructor’s Two Nights Of Terror double-show weekend booked for this Friday, April 1st, and Saturday, April 2nd at X Bar in Cupertino, California, joining Crepuscle, Spinebreaker, Scalp, Cartilage, Slowbleed, Extinguish, Upon Stone, Doomsday, Mutually Assured Destruction, and Outta Pocket. The band will also be opening for Darkest Hour and Toxic Holocaust in San Francisco on June 30th. Watch for additional live news to post over the months ahead.

Headlining Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation, and appearing as “Robb Flyyn and Friends” he was joined by metal luminaries Craig Locicero (Dress The Dead, Forbidden) on Guitar, Andy Galeon (Death Angel) on Drums, Harald O. Robb Flynn And Friends Animal Charity Show This Weekend/Lineup Revealed

As we reported recently, Robb Flynn of Machine Head is supporting Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (A.R.F.) Stars To The Rescue XXVIII, charity benefit show this Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Lesher Center for the Arts, in Walnut Creek, California. LaRussa is the legendary Major League Baseball coach of the Oakland A’s and the St. Louis Cardinals. Robb has been a long-time supporter of the Animal Rescue Foundation (he got his dog Shady from there), proceeds from Stars to the Rescue allow ARF to save dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters and bring people and animals together to enrich each other’s lives. Technical death metallers Wrath of Vesuvius (WRVTH) will be venturing on another tour with Ænimus as part of the Dawn Of The Shred tour. Their third album WRVTH will be out June 16, 2015 via Unique Leader Records. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Fallujah, All Shall Perish et al.) at SharkBite/Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, California, the self-titled opus features a guest appearance from Daniel Casares from Bay Area jazz group Atta Kid on saxophone and boasts eleven tracks of transcendental death metal.

Elaborates the band,

“We get a lot of inspiration from the experience of just being in a band. All the conflicts and resolutions throughout the years have all molded the way we approach our songs. We’ve always been the type of musicians that take the next step to further our skill but collectively and as an entity we strive to convey the jaded sense of growing older into our music. Like Revelation, there is a melodic and lyrical progression that all leads up to cathartic resolution. It takes you on a journey of emotional high points ranging from the good, bad and unforgivable.”
