Bruce Dickinson Teams Up With Z2 Comics for The Mandrake Project 12 Issue Comics Series

Award-winning independent publisher, Z2, is proud to collaborate with legendary rock & roll frontman Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden for an original comic series tied to his upcoming solo album The Mandrake Project, being released by BMG on March 1, 2024. Bruce Dickinson’s The Mandrake Project #1arrives in comic shops and at Z2comics.com on January 17, 2024! The 12-issue limited series is an epic saga of opposing forces battling to use the powers of science and magic to gain control of immortality. It’s a story developed by Bruce over the last decade, and The Mandrake Project is brought to life through his creative partnership with iconic team of creators – including script by Tony Lee (Doctor Who, Marvel, DC), art by Staz Johnson (Marvel, DC), lettering by Troy Peteri (Amazing Spider-Man, Witchblade), coloring by Gabo (DC, Image), covers by multiple Eisner-winner Bill Sienkiewicz (Moon Knight, New Mutants). Edited by Eisner and Harvey-winner Rantz A. Hoseley, Bruce Dickinson’s The Mandrake Project 12-issue comic series is a vital component of Bruce’s narrative and music experience. The excitement kicked off with the release of the single “Afterglow of Ragnarok” on December 1, which contained an eight-page comic prologue, followed by the release of the first issue of the comic to retail shops on January 17th.

Spiritbox Adds Second UK Headline Show, Nominated for Two Juno Awards

Spiritbox has added an additional second headline concert in London, due to overwhelming demand, after their Download Festival performance. Their debut headline UK performance on Monday 13th June last week, the show promptly sold out in under a minute. The band will now perform at the O2 Academy, Islington, on Tuesday 14th June as well. Age restrictions for both shows are 8+, though under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. There will be no pre-sales for the second night and fans will be restricted to purchasing 2 tickets each only. Tickets go on sale at 10am GMT this Friday 4th March at the link below.

Anthrax will unleash their killer’s first-ever graphic novel on July 6th Worldwide. Created in collaboration with Z2 Comics (Steve Aoki, Andy Black, Blondie, Avatar, BABYMETAL) “Among The Living” inspired by the titans of thrash metal’s landmark 1987 album. Ronnie James Dio “Holy Diver” Comic Book Tentatively Due In 2021

Ronnie James Dio is getting a comic book! Z2, the premier destination for top quality music-based comics and graphic novels, has teamed up with the Ronnie James Dio estate to create a comic book based on the cover art of DIO’s classic debut album, Holy Diver. Tentatively due in the summer of 2021, “Ronnie James Dio’s Holy Diver” will be created by legends like writer by Steve Niles, with art by Scott Hampton and cover by Bill Sienkiewicz. The news of the Dio comic book was broken by Ronnie’s widow and longtime manager Wendy Dio during an appearance on the latest episode of Syfy Wire’s “Metal Crush”.
