CONCERT REVIEW: Tech N9ne – Rittz – King Iso – Jehry and More – Live at Worcester Palladium


Strange Music. Always a good time, always fun memories, and always something special when they come to the The Strange New World Tour was supposed to come around in 2020, but obviously was postponed and had a bit of a lineup change due to the change of schedule. Originally it was going to be Tech N9ne, Jelly Roll, King Iso, Maez 301, and Jehry Robinson. The tour that came to be is without Jelly Roll and was switched out with former Strange Music artist Rittz, who now has founded his own record label called Whenever Tech N9ne and CNT Records, the rest of the tour has remained the same… kind of, more on that in a minute.

Rock and Shock Festival Disbands


Sad news on the Festival and Convention front as the long-running Rock and Shock Festival in Worcester, Massachusetts has disbanded after 15 years. The announcement was made in a post to social media about the festival canceling all further festivals. The fest paired the best Horror convention and concert series in the USA and made use of both the famous Worcester Palladium venue and the convention center at the DCU Center up the block. RECAP: Electric Wizard – Midnight: Live at The Worcester Palladium

Ghost Cult caught Electric Wizard on their all-too brief recent US tour last month. The six date run saw the British Doom Metal legends supported by Kvlt Punks Midnight for a run of clubs and theaters, as the band is still supporting 2017s excellent Wizard Bloody Wizard album. Having just spend a good deal of 2019 on the road, including a stop here for Pyscho Las Vegas, the band brought out a setlist celebrating their etire twenty-five year career. REVIEW: Municipal Waste – Napalm Death – Sick Of It All: Live at Worcester Palladium


We were back at the Worcester Palladium for the massive fall tour co-headline tour of Municipal Waste and Napalm Death, with Sick Of It All and Take Offense as support! The venue had been home to the annual Rock and Shock all weekend, “3 days of Metal and Horror”. The weekend had already seen the likes of Korpiklanni, Eluveitie, Revocation, with locals like Vivisepulture, and Ice Giant (Day 1) and Day 2 was dominated by the folks over at Psychopathic Records with the Insane Clown Posse and all their friends as well, with a few local bands opening on the second stage upstairs.Continue reading
