Hear Misfits Classic “Where Eagles Dare” in “Jackass Forever”


Jackass Forever dropped in theaters this weekend and promptly knocked Spider Man: No Way Home out of the top slot at the box office in the USA. Reuniting the famous crew of DIY thrillseekers from TV and the previous movies in the series, the gang is back with this cringe inducing stunts and pranks. Not only does the cast members sport some pretty cool punk and metal shirts during the film, you can hear the Misfits classic track “Where Eagles Dare!” Originally recorded and released in 1979 as the B-side to “Night of The Living Dead” (Plan-9 Records) single, “Where Eagles Dare” is the second most streamed track by the band. Misfits will co-headline Riot Fest later this year! With the tagline “Some people never learn” – Jackass Forever was directed by Jeff Tremaine and stars Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, co-writer on the film Eric André, Machine Gun Kelly, Chris Pontius, Rachel Wolfson, Tremaine, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Rachel Wolfson and more!

Iron Maiden’s “Piece Of Mind” Turns Thirty-Five Years Old

Thirty-five years ago this week, Iron Maiden released Piece Of Mind (EMI/Capitol) cementing their legacy as arguably the best band ever in heavy metal. Their second album with Bruce Dickinson, following the spectacular success of Number of The Beast, the band was certainly under pressure for the much-anticipated follow-up. After leader/bassist Steve Harris wrote most of Number, the group chose a more collaborative approach on the new album.
