Jose “The Metal Ambassador” Mangin, an ever present force in metal culture between Sirius XM Radio and other gigs hjas signed on as Danny Wimmer Presents Rock Festivals as Official Host and Live Correspondent for those festivals.
Welcome to Rockville has announced a bunch of new bands for the upcoming 2022 festival! Joining the bill are Bad Omens, Blacktop Mojo, Giovannie & The Hired Guns, Whitechapel, Mike’s Dead, Stitched Up Heart, The Word Alive, Saul, Lacey Sturm, Crobot, Superbloom, Redlight King, Devil’s Cut, Extinction A.D., The Dose, Moon Tooth, Cold Kingdom, and Crooked Teeth. The festival previously announced their 2022 headliners of Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Kiss, and Korn during the 2021 event. Those iconic bands will be joined by Jane’s Addiction, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Halestorm, In This Moment, Seether, Bush and many more. The poster and daily lineups can be seen below! Brass Against’s cover of iconic Rage Against The Machine track “Wake Up” is featured in the new Matrix franchise sequel – Matrix Resurrections. The original track was featured over the end credits in the original Matrix and the track was also teased in the final trailer for the new film. The band is famous for their covers of major Rock and Metal bands using a massive Horn section. Brass Against was in the news recently in a viral story when singer Sophia Urista urinated on a fan at Welcome To Rockville festival 2021 in Daytona, Florida. She and the band have since apologized publicly. The band has been banned from ever performing at the location of the festival, Daytona Speedway, ever again. You can catch Brass Against in 2022 opening for Tool on their headline tour across Europe.
