Slipknot To Debut ‘Nero Forte’ Video Tomorrow


Metal legends Slipknot will premiere their new music video tomorrow for ‘Nero Forte’, a track from their recent new album We Are Not Your Kind (Roadrunner Records/Elecktra). The track, widely considered to the best and more brutal song on the new album, has been a fan favorite since the album released back in August and has 10 million plays on YouTube music. The band has been riding high on the strength of the album, the sold-out Knotfest Roadshow, Knotfest Bogota, and the just-announced Knotfest at Sea and Knotfest UK in 2020.

Slipknot Reveals Full Tour Routing for Europe 2020, Behemoth to Open on All Dates


Slipknot has revealed the full details of its early 2020 European tour. Direct support will come from Behemoth! The 28-date trek will kick off in Dublin on January 14 and will include eight dates in the U.K. before playing 19 shows across continental Europe, with the final show taking place in Helsinki on February 24. Slipknot Earns Third Number One Record for “We Are Not Your Kind”


Released on August 9th, 2019, Slipknot’s new album We Are Not Your Kind (Roadrunner) sold the equivalent of 118,000 album units in the U.S. in its first of release to land at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Of that sum, 102,000 were in album sales and the rest from digital plays. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The album is the bands’ fifth top 10 effort on the Billboard 200. In a career full of huge achievements, Slipknot toppled another one last night. They headlined the vaunted Iowa State Fair in their home town of Des Moines Iowa, and it was a banger. The fair is no stranger to metal after Metallica headlined their in the 1990s, but it’s definitely not par for the course. The band played pretty much the same setlist they have during the Knotfest Roadshow Tour so far but definitely included a few more recent songs, including ‘Unsainted ‘from We Are Not Your Kind.
