The franchising of Download Festival continues after terrific forays into France and Spain with Sydney and Melbourne, Australia now shaping up to be one of the stronger festival lineups in recent memory. Download Festival Australia has been announced for 2019, as a two-date festival experience in Sydney and Melbourne next March. Headling the festival are Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Judas Priest, Alice In Chains and Ghost are among the confirmed bands. These two shows will represent Ozzy’s only shows in Australia on the “No More Tears 2” tour. More bands will be announced soon. Anti-Flag have announced an upcoming Winter 2016 tour with Leftover Crack, War On Women, The Homeless Gospel Choir and Blackbird Raum. The band has released a digital acoustic album Live Acoustic at 11th Street Records (out now via Spinefarm), recorded during the Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas this past summer.

War On Women
An Amnesia Rockfest documentary titled Montebello Rock Village: the story of Rockfest is currently in the works, and stream the trailer below. Ongoing project since 2010, the film will finally see the light of day this Fall to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the festival. The film will tell the unique story of the event, from its modest beginnings with 500 festival-goers to present-day, now the largest rock festival in Canada.
Over 200 bands will be featured in the documentary. Members of Bad Religion, The Offspring, Pennywise, Korn, NOFX and Lagwagon appear in the trailer.
