Danzig Kicks Off UK Tour Dates Tonight


Danzig has embarked on his solo career 30th Anniversary tour with his appearance The run began at Wacken Open Air where Danzig headlined on the main stage. They will complete their tour run with a headline performance at Brutal Assault Festival on August, 11th in Jaromer, Czech Republic. Two Elderly Men Escape Their Nursing Home To Hang Out At Wacken Open Air


Wacken Open Air’s 2018 festival just concluded and by all reports, it was another banger. In a news story reported by Deutsche Welle, two elderly German men escaped from their nursing home on to attend the first day of Wacken Open Air festival on Friday, August 3rd. The nursing home contacted the police after it discovered that the men were missing from the facility. The men were later found at 3 a.m. at the heavy metal festival, which celebrated its 29th anniversary this year. Wacken Open Air sold out once again, with more than 75,000 metal fans in attendance. Wacken Open Air Crowd Pays Tribute to Lemmy Kilmister


The 2017 Wacken Open Air festival took place this past weekend in Germany, and did not disappoint. This year’s lineup included the likes of Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Emperor, Volbeat, Amon Amarth and Kreator, and over 70,000 people showed up to witness it all in person.
