Platinum-selling band Within Temptation has announced a unique VR livestream event, “The Aftermath: A Show In A Virtual Reality.” It takes place July 8th in Europe and July 9th in North anbd South America, and tickets can be purchased at the link below. The band has also announced a new single “Shed My Skin,” out on June 25 — two weeks before the show. For this song, the band has teamed up with German metalcore band Annisokay.
Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes will perform a livestream virtual concert at the legendary O2 Academy Brixton on Friday 13th November, via their partnership with Melody VR. Fans will not only pick the setlist, but fans will appear on stage on the giant screens over the band. Rockers Halestorm are currently on tour in the USA with In This Moment and New Years Day. The band just released a virtual reality clip (VR) of live performances of ‘Black Vultures’ And ‘Vicious’. The clip was created this summer at a show at the Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut, was shot with a multi-rig VR camera system with director Craig Ziogas and producers Mike Mushok (Staind, Saint Asonia) and Charlie Callahan. Both tracks come from taken from Halestorm’s recent album, Vicious, which was released on July 27 via Atlantic Records. The disc was recorded last year at Nashville, Tennessee’s Rock Falcon studio with producer Nick Raskulinecz.
