Queens of The Stone Age to Reissue Three Past Albums on Deluxe Vinyl


Fresh off of their informal and partial reunion at the Taylor Hawkins Charity Tribute Concert, Queens of The Stone Age will reissue their classic self-titled debut, as well as their most recent albums on deluxe vinyl. Queens Of The Stone Age (1998) debut album will release digitally on September 22, with a vinyl release date of October 21. Restored to its original track listing and adorned by the long out-of-print original Frank Kozik artwork. The Chariot will Reissue Their Final Album – “One Wing”


Entertainment One (eOne) Music will release a limited-edition vinyl repressing of One Wing, the fifth and final studio album from hardcore unit, The Chariot. Initially released in 2012 through eOne and Good Fight Music, One Wing was described by the band as being their “weirdest” release to date. Rock Sound championed a, “ruthless, heartbreaking, and agonizingly profound release from a truly unrivalled band,” Kerrang crowned One Wing a, “weird, unconventional and utterly thrilling classic,” while All Music wrote, “On One Wing, The Chariot avoids the pitfalls that have caught up many a band, striking just the right balance between technique and raw fury to create a sound that is both emotionally and intellectually satisfying.” The critically lauded offering served as the band’s highest-charting album of their career debuting at number 85 on the Billboard 200 upon its first week of release.

Black Sabbath Bassist Geezer Butler’s Three 1990s Solo Albums Are Getting Reissued


All three of Geezer Butler’s 1990s solo albums apart from Black Sabbath reunions are getting reissued. Plastic Planet (1995), Black Science (1997), and Ohmwork (2005) will be avaialble on vinyl for the first time ever, with both CD and LP using newly updated cover artwork and all will be available via BMG on October 30. Plastic Planet featured Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell, with its incendiary single “Drive Boy Shooting,” and is considered a highlight of that time.
