Guns N’ Roses Shares a New Version of “November Rain 2022” with an Orchestra – New Use Your Illusion I and II Box Set Incoming

Guns N’ Roses’ and their label UME/Geffen will cvelebrate 31 years of history of their landmark Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II albums in a massive boxed set over many different formats, for release on November 11, 2022. The super deluxe set of collections feature a total of 97 tracks, 63 are previously unreleased. Available in multiple configurations including a Super Deluxe Seven-CD + Blu-ray, a Super Deluxe Twelve-LP + Blu-ray, Two-CD Deluxe Editions of Use Your Illusion I & II separately, standard 1CD and 2LP versions of Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II separately. In all formats, the original studio albums Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II have been fully remastered for the first-time ever, from high-resolution 96kHz 24-bit transfers from the original stereo 1/2-inch analog masters. Megadeth Shares New Single and Video “We’ll Be Back” – New Album Details Revealed

Megadeth have shared the first single and video from their long-awaited new album, their 16th, The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! via UMe on September 2, 2022. Featuring twelve new tracks, The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! will be released on CD, vinyl, and cassette, as well as digitally through all online partners, and can be pre-ordered/pre-saved at the links below.. There will also be a limited deluxe edition 2LP, 12-track album pressed on 180g black vinyl housed in a numbered gatefold jacket with a 12×24 lyrics/credits insert, a lenticular vinyl lithograph, and a bonus 7-inch featuring “We’ll Be Back” and the unreleased b-side “The Conjuring (Live).” The limited deluxe edition can only be purchased via Megadeth’s official online store, through Sound of Vinyl, and uDiscover, and can be pre-ordered below as well. On July 26th, the Ume label is releasing Soundgarden’s Live From The Artists Den, a phenomenal live package from Soundgarden, and a completely pro-shot multi-angle, immaculate sounding recording for the February 17th, 2013, “King Animal” tour-ending performance in the intimate Wiltern in Los Angeles. The band performed for almost three hours and played a deep set of new songs and rarities performed live for the first time in front of a rapturous crowd. The concert has become the all-time most requested live show for an official release by the band. The 29-song, nearly two-and-a-half-hour show encompasses the band’s rich musical legacy, spanning their early years with “Hunted Down”, through their monumental albums “Badmotorfinger” and “Superunknown”, respectively, with “Outshined” and “Black Hole Sun”, and to their final record, with nearly every song from “King Animal”, including “By Crooked Steps” and “Been Away Too Long”. “Live From The Artists Den” features 21 songs never before released on a Soundgarden concert film, including 17 making their first appearance on a live album, and highlighted by “Blind Dogs”, which the band performed on stage for the first time ever at the Wiltern show. The track from the late Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of The Dog singer comes from a new self-titled solo album collection Chris Cornell, and also available as a 4 CD limited-edition deluxe box set. The first release since his passing in 2017, the album will be made available by Cornell’s wife, Vicky Cornell, on behalf of the Chris Cornell estate through Ume. Anthrax To Release 30th Anniversary Edition Of “State Of Euphoria” This Fall

Anthrax’s 1988 album State Of Euphoria is getting a deluxe reissue this fall from Island Records/Ume/Universal Music. The package was shepherded by drummer Charlie Benante and will consist of two discs: Disc One is the fully remastered album, all of the B-sides originally released in conjunction with the album, and ‘Antisocial’ recorded live in London at the Hammersmith Odeon in March of 1989. Disc Two, “Charlie’s Archives”, is a real treasure trove for fans as it puts you right in the room with the band as the album’s songs evolved. The package also includes a 20-page booklet that will take you right back to the time of the album’s release. The album will also be issued as a 2-LP set on standard black vinyl and limited edition red and yellow colored vinyl. Both versions are available for pre-order now.Continue reading →
