Metal and Rock supergroup DieHumane, featuring former members of Exodus, Anova Skyway, and more and more just released their debut album – The Grotesque on May 5th, 2023, in partnership with Ulrich Wild’s label WURMgroup. The band has shared their new music video for their cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Something I Can Never Have,” a fan-favorite deep cut from NIN’s debut album Pretty Hate Machine (TVT Records).

DieHumane is the Metal and Rock supergroup featuring former members of Exodus, Type O Negative, Life of Agony, Anova Skyway and more. The band will release its debut album The Grotesque on May 5, 2023, in partnership with Ulrich Wild’s label WURMgroup and The Oracle Management, the management company of Coal Chamber/DevilDriver frontman, Dez Fafara (and his wife Anahstasia who’s the CEO). The album was completed in 2022 and will feature 10 original compositions. The band has shared their first single and video – “Oblivion” here:

ALBUM REVIEW: Static-X – Project Regeneration Vol.1

Like many fans, Wayne Static’s tragic passing in 2014 hit me like a ton of bricks. I saw the band rise from the underground to spread their “Evil Disco” sound around the globe, touring with their heroes and influences, and even surpassing a few of the,. Wayne had much more music to give the world but little did we know. As it turns out, a lot more than we expected. Upon repeat listens to the new Static-X album listening to Project Regeneration Vol.1 (Ostego Entertainment Group), the band sounds fresh and raging as ever, and Wayne’s voice is not sad, but a triumphant middle finger from the great ether.Continue reading


Skinlab Announce New Drummer, Start Tracking New Album Due Later This Year


Bay Area metal veterans Skinlab have begun tracking their highly-anticipated new album with producer Ulrich Wild. The album is the first new music by the band with new drummer Fabian Vestod, who joined the band last year following the departure of longtime drummer Paul Hopkins. The new Skinlab album is due for release in later 2019 via Art Is War Records. Extensive touring is also planned. Continue reading
