Psychedelic Doom Metal supergroup EYE AM just released their highly anticipated debut single, “Dreams Always Die With The Sun,” out today June 2 on Corpse Paint Records a new Punk/Alt/Metal Record Company based out of Southwest Florida. The band features Crowbar vocalist/guitarist Kirk Windstein, Type-O Negative guitarist/vocalist Kenny Hickey, and drummer/vocalist Johnny Kelly, as well as former Crowbar bassist Todd Strange. Today Type O Negative is unveiling a darkly captivating treat for World Goth Day! Immerse yourself in the ethereal realm of ‘Halloween in Heaven’ as A.I. breathes new life into the track. Written by the band for their friend Dimebag Darrell, the video features Dimebag alongside John Bonham, John Entwistle, Bon Scott, Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, George Harrison, Jim Morrison, Elvis and the Green Man himself, Peter Steele. Supergroup EYE AM (Type O Negative, Crowbar, Down) Are Recording Their Debut Single

A brand new supergroup has formed with legends of Doom Metal including members of Type of Negative, Crowbar, and Down dubbed EYE AM. The news was revealed in a post from Florida metal label Corpsepaint Records! The band consists of Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative and Silvertomb on guitar and drums, Kirk Windstein of Crowbar, Down, and Kingdom of Sorrow, and Todd Strange, formerly of Crowbar and Down. The debut single will be recorded by bassist Roger Lima of Less Than Jake.

Type O Negative Shares a New Live Performance Video for “Love You To Death” for Valentine’s Day

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Type O Negative has shared a new live performance of “Love You To Death” from their reissue of Dead Again (Nuclear Blast). On March 13, 2007, the band released its seventh and final studio album, which will see the 15th anniversary of the band’s final record before the passing of bassist/vocalist Peter Steele. Last Fall, the Dead Again 3LP reissue was released in select colors. On May 5th, the band releases a 2LP in black vinyl, light green transparent vinyl, light green/black/white splatter vinyl, and mint green marble vinyl as well as a black cassette. DieHumane is the Metal and Rock supergroup featuring former members of Exodus, Type O Negative, Life of Agony, Anova Skyway and more. The band will release its debut album The Grotesque on May 5, 2023, in partnership with Ulrich Wild’s label WURMgroup and The Oracle Management, the management company of Coal Chamber/DevilDriver frontman, Dez Fafara (and his wife Anahstasia who’s the CEO). The album was completed in 2022 and will feature 10 original compositions. The band has shared their first single and video – “Oblivion” here:
