Arriving at Gramercy Theater to finally catch Sepultura on their long-awaited Quadra (Nuclear Blast) tour was a pretty surreal feeling. Not only were we about to catch the legendary Brazilian groove metal masters, but they brought with them an absolutely stellar line-up: LA’s Art Of Shock, New Orleans heavyweights Crowbar, and the recently reunited Phoenix maestros Sacred Reich.

ALBUM REVIEW: Jinjer – Macro


Jinjer has got to be right up there when it comes to the busiest bands in all of hard music today. Just examining their 2019 schedule leads me to notice that they kicked things off with the Micro EP, toured Europe, launched their first headlining North American run this Fall and somehow still found studio time to assemble their fourth proper LP Macro (Napalm Records) just in time for another Euro trek. The Priest is back again! Judas Priest kicked off their first leg of their Firepower 2019 tour with a band yesterday in Paris at Zenith. The band plated and especially long set of hits and deep cuts. One such surprising track was ‘Killing Machine’! They have not played the title track of their 1978 album (a.k.a. Hell Bent For Leather) since the tour supporting that album. Amazing! A Bring Me The Horizon Fan Died At Their London Concert This Weekend


Sad news as a fan died of an undisclosed ailment at Bring Me The Horizon’s concert at Alexandra Palace in London Friday night, November 30th. No Further information has been released at this time. The band has issued the following statement regarding the mater: “Words cannot express how horrified we are feeling this evening after hearing about the death of a young man at our show last night. Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones at this terrible time. We will comment further in due course.”. After speculation began to run wild on social media, the venue made a series of tweets you can read below, clarifying what happened. Concerts are always a time of fun and revelry but please, look out for your fellow concert-goers and alert someone at the venue if someone seems ill.
