EP REVIEW: Tombs – Ex Oblivion
Bandcamp has gained immense traction and reverence as of late, ever since the music streaming website introduced “Bandcamp Fridays,” allotting 100% of artists’ proceeds to said artists without taking fees. A by-product of that has been releases that can only be streamed via Bandcamp, and Tombs are the latest to follow that path.

Tombs will release a new digital EP, Ex Oblivion, due out on June 13th 2022. The band is now streaming their killer cover of Mötorhead’s classic anthem “Killed By Death’ from that EP. The cover also features bassist Drew Murphy on vocals instead of frontman/guitarist Mike Hill, and a guest spot from guitarist Dan Higgins of Hammerfight! The new EP will mark the recorded debut of new guitarist Todd Stern (Psycroptic, Hammer Fight, Abacinate), and can be pre-ordered at the link below.

RPM Fest, the western Massachusetts-based, fiercely independent, all-ages (those under 18 must be with a parent or guardian) weekend of DIY metal music and camping has completed their final 2019 lineup with a series of reveals across social media. Today is the day! The third annual Decibel Metal and Beer Festival takes place today at the Fillmore in Philadelphia!
