Deicide to Debut Craft Beer “The Light Defeated” at Decibel Metal and Beer Festival



In conjunction with their upcoming headline set at Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest, death metal legends, Deicide, have collaborated with craft beer institution, 3 Floyds, for The Light Defeated. Named after the closing track from the band’s forthcoming new album, Banished by Sin (out April 26th on Reigning Phoenix Music), it will make its pouring debut at the Philadelphia edition of Decibel’s long-running extreme metal and craft beer event. Austin Death Fest Adds Mortuous, Witch Vomit, and Others


Taking place at the Mohawk, Austin TX, April 27th and 28th, 2024, Austin Death Fest previously announced Mortiferum, Outer Heaven, Tomb Mold, Phobophilic for the first edition. Debut Austin Death Fest Announces First Bands Including Tomb Mold and More


Founded by Jason Dahlke of Left To Rot, the inaugural Austin Death Fest has announced its first bands. Tomb Mold, Phobophilic, Outer Heaven, and Mortiferum form the initial lineup, with more to come. ALBUM REVIEW: Gatecreeper – An Unexpected Reality


Not content with being hailed as one of the leaders of a New Wave of Death Metal bruisers (NWODMb anyone?) taking inspiration from the founding fathers of three decades past along with Blood Incantation and Tomb Mold – a pack that looks likely to be joined by impressive newcomers Frozen Soul and their glacial Bolt Throwerisms – Arizonian quintet Gatecreeper have taken it upon themselves to mix things up and show some gnarly dexterity in style and idea, and try and shake things up a little in response to the current COVID landscape and restrictions.
