Metallica has released a teaser for their next single, the title track from their upcoming new album 72 Seasons. Their recent single and music video for “If Darkness Had a Son” was the third so far from the new album after the drops of “Screaming Suicide” and “Lux Æterna!” Both tracks had videos directed by Tim Saccenti. Both tracks are in a very Trad Heavy Metal vein. 72 Seasons releases from their own label Blackened Recordings on April 14th, 2023! Metallica has released a series of #duet videos on Tik Tok, which seems to be teasing their next single release. The three clips have over 5.1 million views combined so far. The video started with Lars Ulrich on drums, with Robert Trujillo joining in. A third video has James Hetfield adding his riffs. Now Kirk Hammett’s part has been added. Is a new single imminent? Between the majorly sentimental lineup of the When We Were Young Fest and bands like My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Thursday, Blink-182, Sunny Day Real Estate, and others, snapping out of hiatus and flooding stages once again, it should come as no surprise that Pierce the Veil is rejoining the ranks.

Finnish Symphonic Metal band Apocalyptica has launched a Tik Tok and already have put out some great content! Check out their posts and follow them today. The band has a string of tour dates next month, kicking off in Russia and trekking through Europe. The band has postponed other tours with Evanescene and another with Lacuna Coil. They continue to support their album Cell-0, and have put out a string of new singles and collabs with other artists, including their latest single – “Venomous Moon” – featuring The Rasmus.
