Monolith On The Mesa Music Festival took place last weekend and by all accounts, it was a major rager of a good time. Taking place at Taos Mesa Brewing (The Mothership and Taos Tap Room) the festival featured Om, The Obsessed, Dead Meadow, The Well, Tia Carrera, Wovenhand, Pinkish Black, Castle, Crypt Trip, EYE, Wino solo (unplugged), True Widow and many more on both indoor and outdoor stages with visual artist installations and camping. The time is nigh! The epic Monolith On The Mesa Music festival kicks off tonight in Taos, New Mexico, with their pre-party! Amon the throngs of people descending on Taos will be our contest winner Stephanie Montoya who won weekend passes for her and a friend to the fest! Thank for everyone who entered. Taking place May 17-18 with Pre-Festival Party On May 16th, the fest includes stellar acts from across multiple sub-genres including stoner rock, heavy psych, doom metal, sludge, drone, and retro roc such as Om, The Obsessed, Dead Meadow, The Well, Tia Carrera, Wovenhand, Pinkish Black, Castle, Crypt Trip, EYE, Wino solo (unplugged), True Widow and many more! Tickets on sale at the links below. The fest is located at Taos Mesa Brewing (The Mothership and Taos Tap Room) the festival features both indoor and outdoor stages and adjacent camping facility visual artists include Christian Ristow, Christina Sporrong, JP Rodman and the Mad Alchemist Liquid Light Show. The debut gathering uniting forces in stoner rock, art and craft beer for an incredible event taking place in the southwestern mountain setting.
