Slipknot’s Knotfest.com has announced its own Pulse of the Maggots Fest, a free online festival sponsored by ESP Guitars and presented by MusiCares, Ernie Ball and Rock Against Racism. Hosted by Knotfest.com’s very own Beez, Ryan J Downey and special guests, Pulse of the Maggots Fest comprises 3 digital stages (the MusiCares stage, Rock Against Racism stage, and ESP stage) with performances from 20 of the most exciting up-and-coming artists. Friday 13th November 2020 @ 8pm UK/12pm PST. Pulse of the Maggots is Knotfest.com’s brand dedicated solely to spotlighting emerging acts that bring creativity, originality, and excitement to the growing aggressive music community, and whose namesake festival will stream on Knotfest.com. Fans from all over the world converged in the mountains of San Bernadino, California for Ozzfest Meets Knotfest 2017. Taking place at the Glen Helen Amphitheater & Festival Grounds, the scenic vista of mostly blue skies and mountains all around us was the perfect setting for a weekend of some of the most entertaining, heaviest bands on Earth. After arriving in California a night early, but missing the pre-party show, the Ghost Cult crew got settled in at our hotel, had a great meal and beers at BJ’s Brewhouse, and rested up for the big weekend ahead. The United States summer concert tour culture has definitely improved over the last few years. There are a bunch of cool one-off festivals dates and weekend festivals now, which is cool for the discerning metal fan. Still, the king of the traveling summer metal tours is the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, now in its sixth year. From California this weekend, through southwest and The Rockies, to the northeast, the mid-west and then closing out down south, this traveling circus of metal and rock bands will be out for the next five weeks, hitting 26 cities.
