Download Festival will return for 2021, featuring headliners KISS, Biffy Clyro, and System Of A Down and many more bands including A Day To Remember, Mastodon, Control The Storm, Gender Roles, Jamie Lenman, Myles Kennedy & Company, Deftones, Korn, The Distillers, Steel Panther, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Darkness, Black Veil Brides, Creeper, Alestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Seventy-three bands in all have been announced! Tickets go on sale on August 7th at 9 AM GMT. More bands have yet to be announced. Download Festival, the UK’s premier rock event, will air Download TV this weekend only via Download Festival’s official social channels, and YouTube across 12-14 June 2020. Tune in or miss out. Rock USA Festival Has Been Forced to Cancel Their 2020 Event Due To COVID-19

Rock USA and its sister festival Country USA has been forced to cancel their 2020 events due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The festival, one of the biggest in the US, was to have celebrated its 10th-anniversary edition this summer, and was going to take place July 16-18 at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Of the 40 bands and headliners and support acts included Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Rob Zombie (headlining for a 3rd straight year), Halestorm, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, Anthrax, Chevelle, Avtar, Feever333, Hellyeah, Steel Panther, Knocked Loose, Bad Wolves, Attila and more. Download 2020 Recast as a Virtual Festival with Iron Maiden, System of A Down, KISS and More

Download Festival was one of the first major festivals in the heavy music work canceled due o the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Now we are getting a virtual festival set to take place. Mark off June 12-14 for some prime rock and metal viewing, with many top acts taking part. The Download TV weekend will be split into day and evening programming, with tailor-made shows featuring Iron Maiden, System of a Down and KISS leading the way. KISS will headline the Friday (June 12) festivities, with a replay of standout moments from their huge 2015 headline set. Iron Maiden head up the Saturday (June 13) programming with nostalgic performances, “Legacy of the Beast” snippets, as well as “something just for Download TV.” And System of a Down will close out the virtual festival on Sunday (June 14) with footage from their performances in 2005, 2011 and 2017. The Pretty Reckless Signs a New Record Deal with Fearless Records (USA)

American Rock band The Pretty Reckless, led by singer/actress Taylor Momsen, has inked a new U.S. deal with Fearless Records. The band, which is signed to Century Media Records for territories outside the USA, will release its fourth album, Death By Rock And Roll, later in the year. Godsmack Has Canceled All 2020 Touring Plans Due to The Coronavirus

In a new interview with Eddie Trunk, Sully Erna says that Godsmack has decided against scheduling any tour dates this year while the world is trying to fight and emerge victorious against the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As previously reported, Erna will launch a new twice-weekly Internet show, called “Hometown Sessions”, on Tuesday (April 14) at 6:00 p.m. via his YouTube channel. The band also just released a great music video for the song ‘Unforgettable, featuring young musicians. Over the weekend, Dr. Ezekiel “Zeke” Emanuel, special adviser to the director-general of the World Health Organization, told The New York Times that he doesn’t anticipate it to be safe to return to concerts, sporting events and other mass public gatherings for another 18 months.Continue reading →
