Danny Wimmer Presents Inkcarceration Festival 2023 has announced its full lineup of bands and tattoo artists. Headliners include Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Pantera, Volbeat, Lamb of God, Bush, Megadeth, and Flyleaf with Lacey Sturm, along with 10 Years, In This Moment, Underoath, Hatebreed, P.O.D, The Ghost Inside, Wage War, Coal Chamber, and many more. The festival will be on July 14, 15, and 16 at the infamous Ohio State Reformatory (the site of the film The Shawshank Redemption) in Mansfield, Ohio. Rock Fest 2023 Books Slipknot, Pantera, Godsmack, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, GWAR, Dorothy, and More


 

Rock Fest, the largest three-day rock music and camping event in the U.S. has announced next summer’s lineup for its 29th Annual event. Slipknot, Pantera, Godsmack, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, GWAR, and Dorothy appear alongside 75-plus bands over the course of the three-day festival. Rock Fest 2022 was record-breaking with the highest-ever attendance in the event’s history according to Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, and they anticipate breaking it again this year. An extra day is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12: *Bonus Bash exclusive to three-day ticket holders: Soul Asylum, Alien Ant Farm, Gemini Syndrome, and many more. Single-day general admission and individual-artist pit passes are on sale now. FESTIVAL REVIEW: Download Festival 2022 Part II


My Saturday at Download began over at the main stage where I caught the retro new wave of classic rock act Those Damn Crows, a band who have amassed a significant following in Wales thanks to appearances at the likes of Steelhouse Festival and other rock-oriented affairs. Possibly one of the smallest acts to perform on the main stage this year, the band spared no expense offering a fantastic wake-up call with some unremarkable if solid hard rock tunes. The day’s proceedings then continued firmly in the rocky territory with a southern, slightly heavier twang with Black Label Society, in their first festival appearance on UK soil since 2015, and with less of Zakk Wylde’s expectedly lengthy and tiresome soloing. Don’t get me wrong, Zakk was still doing his usual thing, but with a much-needed addition of percussion, making the moments of instrumental wankery much more palatable than usual.

Riot Fest 2021 Adds Patti Smith, Alkaline Trio, The Flaming Lips and More


Riot Fest has made the final weekend additions to the 2021 event, kicking off September 19th, 2021, which will be the fest’s first-ever Thursday Preview Party. Patti Smith and Her Band and Alkaline Trio will join Thursday night, with additional sets from Joyce Manor (performing their self-titled 2011 debut), WDRL, and Kristeen Young. As for Sunday, The Flaming Lips will return to Riot Fest on Sunday, bringing the fest-favorites back to Douglass Park on September 19 to replace Pixies. Sunday attendees will also get into the Thursday Preview Party for free, with a host of freshly-announced perks included. Tickets are on sale now at the link below.

Misfits to Perform All of “Walk Among Us” at Riot Fest 2022


“The Original Misfits” reunion of Danzig, Jerry Only, and Doyle has already announced they will perform at Aftershock Festival and now they will perform all of their classic Walk Among Us (Plan 9 Records) at Riot Fest 2022. Misfits will headline along with My Chemical Romance, already announced for 2022. tickets are on sale now for 2022 and this year’s Riot Fest features Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, DEVO, NOFX, Dinosaur Jr., Motion City Soundtrack, Smashing Pumpkins, Run the Jewels, Pixies, Circle Jerks, Coheed & Cambria, K.Flay, Meg Myers, Les Savy Fav, and many others to perform. My Chemical Romance has been announced as the first headliner for 2022 and tickets are on sale for both this year and next years’ fests at the link below.
