Liquid Death presents Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, has today announced eight more artists for this year’s festival, further bolstering a stellar 2024 line-up. The new additions include Kerry King, Creeper, Bayside, Bambie Thug, Soft Play, Lowlives, Florence Black and Kerrang! Radio competition winners Mallavora. This year’s festival will take place on 14-16 June 2024 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. Tickets are available now at the link below.

Nu Metal legends Limp Bizkit has been added to the festival bill. This year’s festival will take place on 14-16 June 2024 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. EP REVIEW: The Callous Daoboys – God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys

Much like the Atlanta band’s name is a mocking twist on the Dallas Cowboys, their take on metalcore is a mocking twist on the genre. Normally this sort of thing is not my personal taste, and I write it off as MySpace metal, however these guys have perverted in such a manner that it appeals to me. They are aggressive yet highly skilled in the mathematics of their contorted riffing.

FESTIVAL REVIEW: ArcTanGent Festival 2023 Live at Fernhill Farm

ArcTanGent Festival, a yearly outdoor four-day fixture at Fernhill Farm near Bristol, attracts a devoted following to its niche yet eclectic lineups of artists who generally have an association with post-rock, progressive metal, or experimental rock. It’s “sort of” a metal festival, but the range of acts it showcases steers towards the more left-field and eccentric end of heavy music and at times stretches beyond what could reasonably even be labelled as “rock”.

MxPx is gearing up for a busy 2023! Today, the band announced they will be headlining Furnace Fest in Birmingham, AL this Fall, closing the first night on September 22, 2023.
