Metallica Shares “Of Wolf and Man” Video from “The Black Album” Tour in 1993


Metallica has shared a new live performance video of their Metallica (“The Black Album”) cut “Of Wolf and Man” from their headline set at Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK in 1993. Metallica will celebrate 30 years of Metallica this so this may be a tease of a larger rollout that celebrates the biggest selling rock or metal album of all time. According to published reports last year, “The Black Album” still sells thousands of physical copies weekly and the band surpassed One Billion in streams in 2020.

Metallica to Release Exclusive Color Vinyl Editions of their Classic Albums via Wal-Mart

Much banter has gone down in the press this year about the pandemic legit ruining the industry, but one band that seems somewhat bulletproof is Metallica. The biggest Rock/Metal band ever in terms of sales dominates streaming with 1 Billion Spotify streams in 2019 (the band has not released 2020 data yet) and over 6000 units (usually over 2k physical copies) of The Black Album alone sold weekly. They also sell tons of music via their website and too and had a new release in 2020 with S & M2 (Blackened Recordings). Now the band is teaming up Wal-Mart for a series of limited edition color-vinyl variants of six albums: Kill Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, …And Justice for All, Metallica (aka The Black Album), and Hardwired… to Self-Destruct. Pre-orders are available now, with delivery expected in February of 2021!

This was the tail end of touring for “The Black Album”, and the band would headline Woodstock 94, a few weeks later. The show will be available for you to enjoy all week!
