UPDATED: Is Rage Against the Machine Plotting a Comeback?

UPDATE: This rumor was confirmed an hour later via Forbes Magazine. This is strictly a Friday morning, water cooler rumor at this point, but there are indications, co-signed by Tom Morello on Instagram, that Rage Against The Machine may have booked a string of dates for spring 2020. An account popped up and posted dates at midnight on November 1st. A quick glance at Morello’s account has a post from earlier in the week, about the uprising in Chile. He tagged the leading fan source for RATM (they have been accurate in the past with intel about the related RATM projects). That page, @war_within_a_breath claims the band has booked the dates you can see below. Curiously the two April dates fall over the same weekends as Coachella 2020, which would be a no brainer for headline sets from the band. The last time RATM played together was July 2011, at Uprising Festival. Tomorrow is actually the 20th anniversary of their final original album, The Battle of Los Angeles (Epic Records). 2020 marks the anniversary of the covers album Renegades. Take this post with a LARGE grain of salt, but we’d love to see and hear a reunited Rage Against the Machine in 2020!
