Jay White, Bassist For The Agony Scene Has Died


In sudden and sad news, Jay White, bassist of Tulsa, Oklahoma metallers The Agony Scene, has died. No cause of death has been revealed at this time. Jay had been receiving dialysis for an undisclosed condition and there was a gofundme set up to help with medical costs. The band shared their news in a loving message to Facebook. Darkest Hour Announces Tour Dates With Unearth And The Agony Scene


Darkest Hour has announced the “Death To False Metalcore” tour of Canada this Winter. Unearth will co-headline and The Agony Scene will provide direct support. The bands performing across Eastern Canada from January 31st through February 8th. Tickets are on sale now. Darkest Hour and Unearth then head over to Europe with Misery Signals, Malevolence, and Left Behind supporting them from March 21st through April 1st. The most obvious starting points when we come to talk about reunions has to be Carcass and At The Gates, who returned from hiatus without missing a beat to produce albums that stood worthy in their canons. Yet what neither behemoth managed to do though, and Surgical Steel (Nuclear Blast) in particular is a fantastic record, was exceed that which they had laid down before.
