It is quite outstanding when we sit down to realize how human nature can easily adapt (for better or worst) to its surroundings and environment. Particular historic examples in the music industry like the shift of the typical major label model, to music piracy, to streamings platform era, and some more social events, like a pandemic, are some of the major challenges that musicians have had to deal with through history. How some musicians have been able to, somehow, stay on their feet and continue to deliver quality products to their fans it’s simply remarkable. Trivium Shares New Photos of Their “Airplane Hangar” Compound


Trivium recently shared their first new single and video from their expected next album, “In The Court Of The Dragon.” The track and video also feature an epic intro composed and orchestrated by Ihsahn (Emperor). Now the band has shared images from their compound, based in an abandoned airplane hangar in Flordia. The band made news at the height of the pandemic in 2020 – buying the hangar to convert it into a recording studio, Metallica-style HQ, and streaming venue/video production stage with their earnings from their very first livestream. The band — Matt Heafy [vocals, guitar], Corey Beaulieu [guitar], Paolo Gregoletto [bass], and Alex Bent [drums] has been influential in validating livestreams and streaming economy in general for being a legit way for bands to augment their revenue in the face of the global shutdown. Trivium New Single and Video – “In The Court Of The Dragon”


Legendary modern Thrash Metal band Trivium — Matt Heafy [vocals, guitar], Corey Beaulieu [guitar], Paolo Gregoletto [bass], and Alex Bent [drums] — have shared the brand new single and video “In The Court Of The Dragon.” The track and video also feature an epic intro composed and orchestrated by Ihsahn (Emperor). Tesseract to Release Multi-format version of Livestream Concert – “Portals”


TesseracT invited fans to join them in P O R T A L S last winter, an ambitious concept created to offer an escape in a time of isolation. Set to a screenplay the band created, they performed highlights By taking their most daring steps as a creative force, the band offered the viewer a completely new and unique experience. TesseracT performed songs spanning their entire catalogue. Highlights included “Nocturne” off their 2010 debut EP, Concealing Fate, and continued with “Eden” (One, 2011), “Of Matter” (Altered State, 2013), “Tourniquet” (Polaris, 2015), and “King” (Sonder, 2018), with the whole performance capturing 14 songs over 2+ hours. The band and their label Kscope will release this performance/hi-art concept film and soundtrack will be issued on an array of formats including Blu-Ray, Triple LP soundtrack, and as a limited edition deluxe 4-disc book edition on August 27. Arctangent Festival 2021 is Postponed to 2022


In some heartbreaking news for this summers’ UK festival circuit, Arctangent Festival, the best fest for Progressive Metal, Tech-Death, Djent and related sub-genres is canceled for 2021 and postponed until 2022. The festival made the announcement on social media today. Bands returning in 2022 include Opeth, Cult of Luna, TesseracT, MONO, Amenra, Maybeshewill, Alces, Perturbator, Leprous, Enslaved, Caspian, The Locust, Agent Fresco, Oathbreaker, Intronaut, AA Williams, Bell Witch, Jo Quail, Svalbard, Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, and Bloodlet.

Trivium Books UK Tour Dates with Heaven Shall Burn, TesseracT, and Fit For An Autopsy


Thrash metal leaders Trivium have announced a tour of the UK for next fall, 2021. Direct support Heaven Shall Burn, TesseracT, and Fit For An Autopsy. Tickets will be available via an O2 pre-sale from 4pm Monday 7th December and a Gigs In Scotland/Live Nation pre-sale from 4pm Tuesday 8th December, with the general on sale beginning 4pm Wednesday 9th December.
