Ghost Cult was thrilled to catch up with one of our favorite bands in the scene right now, Stone Broken at last fall’s Rock Allegiance Festival in Camden, New Jersey. Speaking with Rich Moss and Robyn Haycock, the band discussed touring America in support of their recent album ‘Ain’t Always Easy’, out now via Spinefarm Records. They shared their feelings on opening a festival date, about getting support form headliner Fozzy, writing “stumpy riffs”, their favorite walkout music from WWE, future Stone Broken tour plans, and much more! Ice Cube And MTV To Resurrect Celebrity Deathmatch


According to a new report, based on the upcoming rebirth of The Real World and other nostalgia for the 1990s, MTC and actor/producer/Hip-Hop legend Ice Cube are working on a reboot of Celebrity Deathmatch. The show was a huge hit for the network which featured stars of pop-culture brutally and comically fighting to the death, in claymation. Series creator Eric Fogel will return to executive produce, with Ice Cube set to executive produce and star in the new take on the stop-motion animation series. Jeff Kwatinetz of Cube Vision will also executive produce with Ben Hurwitz co-executive producing. The new Celebrity Deathmatch will be available as a weekly series for an SVOD or other network partner in 2019.The show originally aired from 1998-2001 on MTV. It featured the voices of Mills Lane, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Debbie Matenopoulos. MTV2 then relaunched the show for two seasons in 2006 and 2007, with the network then ordering a pilot for a reboot in 2015 that did not go to series.Continue reading
