Rob Zombie Books a New Tour with Mudvayne, Static-X, and Powerman 5000

Rob Zombie will team up with reunited Nu-metallers Mudvayne for the “Freaks On Parade” tour this summer. Direct will come from Static-X and Powerman 5000. Produced by Live Nation, the 21-city trek kicks off on July 20 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, making stops across the U.S. in Tampa, Holmdel, Tinley Park, and more before wrapping up in The Woodlands at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on August 21. The pre-sale is this Thursday, with the general on-sale going live on March 25th, 2022. Zombie released his most recent album The Lunar Injection Kool-Aid Eclipse via Nuclear Blast in 2021. Avatar, Thrown Into Exile, Pupil Slicer, Cage Fight, and Ill Nino Booked for Bloodstock 2022

Bloodstock Open Air 2022 has added 12 more bands to the lineup for this summer, including Avatar, Thrown Into Exile, Pupil Slicer, Cage Fight, and Ill Nino, Vended, Sorcerer, Red Method, and Baest. More bands will be added soon and the festival has announced their ticket deposit plan. Day tickets will go on sale in the ticket store on Friday 4th February at 9am, priced £65 (+bkg fees) for adults and £20 (+bkg fees) for children (4-11 years). Kids under 4 go free! The comeback of the fest in 2021 was great and you can read our review here. Headliners for BOA 2022 are Lamb Of God, Mercyful Fate and Behemoth. Bloodstock will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 11th-14th August 2022.

Static-X Reschedules The Rise Of The Machine Tour Featuring Fear Factory And Dope

Static-X have announced they are rescheduling dates of their highly anticipated Rise Of The Machine North American Tour featuring Fear Factory, Dope, Mushroomhead and Twiztid. The tour, produced by Live Nation, is being rescheduled due to the current increase in the spread of COVID 19 and its continued effect on travel restrictions, public health, and fan safety. The 42-date trek will now kick off February 25, 2023, in San Francisco, CA and wrap up April 15,2023, in Los Angeles, CA. Due to overwhelming demand, four new markets have been added to the tour and the Portland OR date has been upgraded to Roseland. Fans can expect the same incredible package and night of music as previously announced. Static-X will continue to pay tribute to their legacy and late frontman Wayne Static with their Rise Of The Machine North American Tour 2022. The tour will also pay homage to their album Machine, getting a 20th anniversary reissue next year. The 37-date run, produced by Live Nation, kicks off on February 21st in Portland, OR and runs over 5 weeks wrapping up on April 3rd in San Francisco, CA. The song hit #1 on Spotify’s New Metal Tracks playlist (475k followers) and was added to Spotify’s Kickass Metal Playlist (1M+ followers), Spotify’s Rock Hard Playlist (750k followers), and 23 other Spotify official playlists and 312,000 fan playlists. Like many fans, Wayne Static’s tragic passing in 2014 hit me like a ton of bricks. I saw the band rise from the underground to spread their “Evil Disco” sound around the globe, touring with their heroes and influences, and even surpassing a few of the,. Wayne had much more music to give the world but little did we know. As it turns out, a lot more than we expected. Upon repeat listens to the new Static-X album listening to Project Regeneration Vol.1 (Ostego Entertainment Group), the band sounds fresh and raging as ever, and Wayne’s voice is not sad, but a triumphant middle finger from the great ether.Continue reading →
