Worldwide fast-food burger chains are not always synonymous with metal, especially with all the Vegan hardcore bands around today. The two intersected on January 4th for National Roast Day (#NationalRoastDay) as GWAR, Attila frontman Chris Fronzak, Emmure, Atreyu, Beartooth, Hawthorne Heights, Miss May I, CKY‘s Matt Deis, Miss May I, State Champs, Knocked Loose, Victory Records, Hopeless Records and more were roasted savagely by Wendy’s Twitter team. Slayer, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater, Lamb Of God And More Booked For Download 2019

Download Festival 2019 has given fans an early holiday present with a mega lineup announcement today. Slayer will perform their final UK appearance at the festival next summer. Joining them are a spate of bands such as Smashing Pumpkins, Dream Theater, Lamb of God, Eagles Of Death Metal, Alien Weaponry, Anthrax, Badflower, Black Futures, Blackberry Smoke, I Prevail, The Interrupters, Jinjer, and more.
