The inaugural When We Were Hungry Festival has announced its cancellation, due to unforeseen circumstances. The event was originally scheduled to take place on October 20 and 21 in Las Vegas at Rockstar Bar – Concert On The Green.is set to take place in Las Vegas, NV on Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21 at Rockstar Bar – Concert On The Green. The festival was to feature headlining performances from Black Flag, Madball, Secondhand Serenade and Every Avenue, the 18+ festival will cater to fans of punk rock, emo, and metal with some of the scene’s most popular acts from the past immersed with new up-and-coming talent.

The lineup has been finalized with the addition of Doll Skin, Marked Life and Battle of The Bands winners Forever For Now.
When We Were Hungry Festival will take place in Las Vegas, NV on Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21 at the 3,000-capacity venue Rockstar Bar – Concert On The Green. The festival will highlight independent-focused acts that represent a who’s-who of the past and present rock, metal, punk and emo scene. The 2022 lineup will include headlining performances from punk rock icons Black Flag, legendary NY hardcore group Madball, emo rockers Secondhand Serenade and pop punk band Every Avenue plus more than 50 bands across two outdoor stages and one indoor stage over both days.
San Antonio-based rock outfit Nothing More have previously shared a new single and lyric video – “Spirits” – the title track from their forthcoming new album due out October 14th 2022, via BetterNoiseMusic. The track is streaming on all DSPs. In addition to the hook-laden rock single, the band has launched their own “Spirits Test.” Developed over recent years by front man JohnnyHawkins, the Spirits Test combines what’s been learned from similar personality tests including Myers-Briggs, The Big 5, Carl Jung and the Zodiac. According to a report from Blabbermouth.net, Occult Swedish Heavy Metal band Ghost, led by Tobias Forge, has lost their case in Swedish court has lost their case against Ghost Drinks Ltd. The spirits maker makes a Gin using the group’s name, and Forge and his representatives claimed the vodka could conceivably have caused marketplace confusion. Ghost Drinks famously trolled the band on social media after the suit. The vodka company, which launched in June 2015, countered that Forge had known about their product since 2016. On December 22, the Swedish Patent And Market Court, which deals with intellectual property infringement and validity cases, issued a judgment saying that the term “ghost” is a generic word and is, therefore, free for Ghost Drinks to use.
