New Led Zeppelin Outtake Released, Final Deluxe Editions Due Next Month

Led Zeppelin has made public another rare unreleased outtake: a blues jam entitled ‘Sugar Mama’ from 1968. Hear the track at this link:

‘Sugar Mama’ comes from the deluxe edition of CODA (Atlantic) which was the last official Led Zeppelin album, full of unreleased songs at the time of John Bonham’s death in 1980. Other deluxe editions arriving in stores and online next month are Presence and In Through The Out Door. Jimmy Page personally oversaw the creation of these re-issues, each with exhaustive archival audio, special packaging versions, custom vinyls and extras in each package, never previously available.

Other never-before released material include ‘Baby Come On Home’ from the same session as ‘Sugar Mama’, recorded at Montreal’s Olympic Studios. is also included in the set. Also previously unreleased is ‘St. Tristan’s Sword’, an instrumental recorded during the Led Zeppelin III sessions in 1970.
