Metallica to Headline BottleRock Napa 2022


BottleRock Napa Valley and Metallica have announced that they will be one of the headliners for this year’s festival. It will be held Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-29th 2022 at the Napa Valley Expo in Northern California. The festival returns to its usual weekend after moving to Labor Day weekend in 2021. Rap Rockers 311 celebrated 30 years in music a few years back as the band was officially founded in 1988 and has had the same lineup intact since 1992, one of the longest lineups in rock history. Hasbro Completes Their Acquisition of Entertainment One Records Ltd. (eOne)


 

In a story we reported several months ago, Hasbro has completed their acquisition of Entertainment One (eOne Records, eOne Heavy) and their properties. The move adds more global brands to Hasbro’s cadre of entertainment offerings. Originally founded as music distributor Records on Wheels in 1970, but today has a plethora of well-known music, film, and television brands. eOne’s music offerings includes the libraries of Artemis Records, Death Row Records, and Dualtone Records as well as Grammy winners High on Fire, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang Clan, Zakk Wyle’s Black Label Society, Crowbar, Ace Frehley, The Blue Stones, Arkells, The Bloody Beetroots, Lights, The Game, Teagan and Sara and more.

Friday night’s music action kicks off at 3 PM and features none other than hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, playing for practically a hometown crowd. Joining him are Barker’s Transplants band and the sensational Yelawolf.

Saturday the fairgrounds open at noon for a full day of tats, contests, food and fun. Saturday is headlined by Deftones, who are gearing up for the release of their new album Gore (Warner Brothers). Joining them will be the always fun live Taking Back Sunday. Miss Musink will be crowned on the stage, and Plague Vendor will also play.

Sunday has another “pinch” me type bill with Circa Survive and the reunited Atreyu back to back! Face To Face is also playing so get your spot early and prepare to dance!
