Metallica Shares S and M 2 Version of “All Within My Hands”, New Live Album Merch Bundles on Sale Now


As promised, Metallica dropped a ton of stuff today as they have shared a live video from their S&M2 concerts of 2019 with performances of “All Within My Hands” and “Nothing Else Matters!” Arriving in stores, streaming, and mailboxes on August 28th via Blackened Recordings, the Metallica with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra also shared a teaser for the entire release and announced a ton of exclusive and limited edition merch bundles with all the typical merch, as well as special things, such as S&M2 performance-used music. S&M2 were two performances held in San Francisco in September of 2019, the second show was added after scalpers boxed out real fans from getting tickets. The band also world-premiered the concert footage in a series of exclusive global movie theater events via Trafalgar Releasing. Metallica to Release Delayed S&M2 Boxed Set This Summer


After missing their original release window earlier this year, Metallica will release their S&M² box set, featuring Metallica’s 2019 performance with the San Francisco Symphony will be made available in August. The news of the set’s release was broken by drummer Lars Ulrich, who chatted with Metallica superfan Tracey Bednar, a pediatric ICU nurse from Long Island, New York, during last night’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. During the quarantine, the ABC program is paying tribute to those who are on the frontline of the crisis. Last night’s #HealthCareHero was Bednar, who was surprised by Ulrich with VIP tickets to a Metallica concert and a copy of the “S&M²” box set signed by everyone in the band.Continue reading
